Arnold
Destroying California one bad
decision at a time.

Remember the promise that green jobs would flourish in California? Well, here's the reality: The cost of going green is actually lost jobs.

When Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006, Californians were told that their state would become a font of green jobs churned out by the growing green economy.

Senator John Kerry said a bipartisan climate change bill would emerge soon in the U.S. Senate, contradicting what he called the "conventional wisdom" that the legislation was dead this election year.

Kerry is working closely with the Obama administration and a bipartisan group of senators on a comprehensive bill to reduce U.S. carbon dioxide pollution blamed for global warming.

The so called "independent" investigation into the climategate emails scandal has descended into farce before it is barely off the ground as a third member of the six man panel has been revealed to hold strong views on human induced climate change.

The impartiality of glaciologist Geoffrey Boulton has been questioned after he admitted he firmly believed that human activities were causing global warming.

"You bad boy, Rahm. I promise not to
forget you when I'm president."

Green hypocrisy may be coming back to bite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. While even the most optimistic Republicans don't expect to actually see her defeated in the November elections (she does after all represent San Francisco, and has amassed a huge campaign war chest), she has probably alienated more than enough voters with her unrelenting push for nationalized healthcare legislation alone to guarantee the defeat of many Democrat House members this fall. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey found that 69 percent of Americans polled are opposed to the House and Senate ObamaCare bills.  But Pelosi is pushing on undeterred.

Despite failures at Copenhagen, the fraud of the IPCC and the farce of Climate-gate, the administration wants an agency to monitor climate change. Why must we fund one-stop shopping for climate charlatans?

As the climate freezes, there's no freeze on federal employment that will grow even more with the establishment of a new agency, the Climate Service office. The new agency was announced Monday by Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

AGW, the never ending story..*sigh*. It seems the President is not ready to give up the anthropogenic global warming faith.

AP is reporting that the Obama administration is setting up a new "climate service" in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It will "operate in tandem" with the NOAA's National Weather Service and National Ocean Service.

Two weeks ago we reported on how 21 Congressmen and Senators and more than 80 other government employees flew to the failed Copenhagen climate summit. There has now been a price tag assigned to the trip - $1.1 million of taxpayer money.

Congress has never been one to do things frugally and the receipts from the trip show the trip to the U.N. Climate Change Conference was no different. CBS News obtained the expense report (below) and reading it many are questioning whether or not Congress understands that times are tough for many Americans.

Huge expanses of British town and city centres built in the Sixties and Seventies may have to be torn down to meet carbon emission standards for buildings.

In an interview with The Times, the Government’s new chief construction adviser said that there may be no choice but to demolish buildings put up in those decades because it is impossible to refurbish them to a sufficiently high standard.

If you still require proof the Environmental Protection Agency operates without any sort of tethering to reality, you need look no further than its crackdown on smog.

The agency recently proposed to ratchet down the ground-level ozone standard to 0.060 to 0.070 parts per million from the 0.075 ppm level set by the Bush administration and the 0.084 ppm level set by the Clinton administration in 1997.

John Kerry reading his expense report from his Copenhagen boondoggle.

Three military jets, 21 Congressmen and Senators plus scores of other staffers flew to the failed UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen last month on the taxpayer’s bill. In a report to be shown tonight on CBS News, Sharyl Attkisson will report on what many are saying is a prime example of congressional waste and hypocrisy.

President Obama knows little and cares less about global warming or climate change. It’s a means to a political end. He’s an arsonist setting fires to save the country, but as it burns he uses extinguishers that we know don’t work. He’s pursuing a deeply entrenched ideology with help from those who advanced his career as a figurehead for socialism in America. He’s assisted by the people he appointed to office and the policies already put in place.  His actions are those Saul Alinsky outlined for community organizing but applied to the entire nation.
