If you actually read the material linked to you can see what fraud this site is. The Houston Chronicle story quotes one research who disagrees. So? The research itself is sound, which does not mean it is correct. Mann et al have developed a new approach to study past storm activity. It will take much more work before we know if it reliable. It is certainly interesting.

The Woods Hole press release does not suggest global warming is not occurring. See their chart:

Do you know what a derivative is? Look at the slope and concavity of the last century and compare to that of the green curve during the medieval warm period.

What could be more natural after an ice age and the LIA than warming?
We should all be thankful that we live in a slightly warmer period of Earth's history.

I think everyone agrees warming is happening, the issue is weather (pun intended) industrializati on is causing it. The Earth SHOULD be warming, we are coming out of the Little Ice Age. The planet will warm up, then cool, then warm, and go through that cycle as it has been doing through the ages.

Same "scientists" and Media outlets that are screaming AGW today are the major players in in the "global cooling" or "next ice age" theory of the mid seventies!
